Great pen from Nahvalur!

I bought the nautilus on the recommendations of a friend who said “it’s a great steel nib and you’ll like ebonite” And honestly this doesn’t do the pen Justice. It’s an amazing nib right out of the box, a wet fine that hasn’t skipped a beat. Ebonite is everything it was promised to be, a warm and comfortable expirence that is tremendous for long writing sessions. The ink window is quirky adds to general style.

I adore Nahvalur pens. The piston fill mechanism is my favorite, loads lots of ink and doesn't dry out between writing sessions. The Nautilus is my favorite model because of the ink windows, huge when trying to determine if it's time to refill. Smooth writing nib, sleek feel, lovely detailing on the band and clip. You won't be disappointed with any of their pens.

I got this pen to celebrate pride, but it writes like a dream and will be staying inked up long term.

Nahvalur pens are my favorite in the mid price range. The original Schuykill pen was ordered with a medium nib. With the huge advantage of using the same nib interface for every pen made by Nahvalur, it was very simple and inexpensive to switch out the medium nib to a fine one. By unscrewing the nib (no need to empty the pen!) the new could be installed in less than ten minutes. Releasing the ink flow by turning the filler knob to prime the new nib put the pen right back into service.

The Nahvalur company site is easy to navigate. Being used to brand A, the delivery was a bit longer, but still quite timely.

Love everything about this pen…. I like that i can dock the cap giving me better balance, the ease of filling the ink reservoir, the beautiful swirly (with some glittery swirls) color pattern…not to mention the beautiful ocean themed engraving on the caps metal band. A lot of love and focus on detail went into designing this pen and I love it!

This is my 4th Nahvalur and they are dependable, smooth, and attractive pens. This one checks every box for it's price point. Highly recommend the pen and the brand.
