Nahvalur Nautilus

So this is my first time using a Nahvalur original pen and honestly it writes just as well as its more expensive sibling the Christmas holiday pen.

The nib on this pen is like “buttah” and the ease at filling the pen is second to none.

If you can get your hands on one of these pens do it!!

I enjoy italic nibs quite a lot and see myself as a bit of a conneseur of them. I'd previously bought a Nautilus pen with a golden stub and for a lark I put it in a spare to just feel what a Nahvalur nib felt like.

To my surprise it REALLY caught my fancy that it became a staple in that pen, to the degree that I decided I wanted to get the gorgeous black plated one to match better. It's an attractive nib that performs really well and I would recommend people to give it a try.

For a stub it creates crisper lines than most out of the factory nibs, without being noticeably sharper. Highly recommend 5/5

I bought one of these nibs to replace a Medium nib in a Nahvalur pen I had. Replacement was easy and it writes very nicely! No tuning required.

I am very satisfied. Medium nib is smooth and the Pen is an eye catcher for sure. Love the summer edition design, color scheme and smooth writing. Paired already with a beautiful red/orange and am now writing with a blue ink to change it up. Love it!

I just received the Original Winter fountain pen and I absolutely love it. The pen writes beautifully. Sipping was a little delayed at no fault to Nahvalur. USPS “lost” it in their system for a couple of days. Definitely happy with this one.!

My first example would dry out when it wasn't used for about an hour. After reaching out to nahvalur they replaced the pen, the new one writes at first dry even after several days. Looks unique, and writes well.

Nib is beautiful and well done. I think my pen is the gone is a "lemon" becuase although I changed the nib, it still skips when writing and ink does not flow as good as I'd like to.

I received the Original Plus (Lovina Graphite, medium nib) as a gift. This pen looks and feels as beautiful as it writes. To describe the writing experience, to quote Colonel Potter of MASH, there are not enough o's in smooth. As a still budding fountain pen enthusiast, I would have to say that this pen punches far above its weight, and is extremely (ridiculously) good value.

A couple of reviews mention the ink flow. As this is my first vacuum fill pen, I found it was vital to google "vacuum fountain pen" and maybe watch a youtube video or two. The filler knob simply needs to be slightly open - not tightly closed - to allow for good ink flow. Videos and discussions explain the how and why.

I chose the stub nib for my Nautilus and inked using a good wet ink, Writers Blood. Everything fell into place. The pen wrote without coaxing and put down very smooth lines. The Nautilus was one of pens left I wanted to purchase and I wish I had bought one sooner.

I am very pleased with this purchase. This stub is perfect for practicing Italic hand on the go with my Lovina Graphic Original Plus. The massive amount of ink that this vacuum fill holds means more writing less filling! The stub nib is smooth and not too wet, not too dry! Perfection!

Looks great. Arrived in a timely manner. Sadly, won’t fit my Plongeur model. Am keeping for when I get another Nahvalur model.
