Introduced in the fall of 2021, the Nahvalur Nautilus combines vintage materials with modern designs. When fountain pens were first invented, all pens were made of a hardened rubber called ebonite. Today, hardly any pen companies are still using this beautiful material. The Nautilus series is bringing back this retro material while combining modern design elements. Three portholes are carefully crafted onto the body of the pen to allow users to view the ink reserve.

The pen writes really well. My disappointment is with the look of the pen, the colour distribution is dominated (99%) by the dark violet. Your internet photos could be considered false advertising, my pen does not look anything like that. This was my fifth Nahvalur fountain pen, my last?
I own lots of pens , this pen is one of my favorites and has become my dayley writer that I use to journal every day . I have a original + that I got from FPR with one of there ultra flex nibs in and I have the sunset ember Nautilus coming from Galen Leather. So I would say I am a big fan of Nahvalur pens
