I found the pen to be smooth writing with its 14k gold fine nib
The pen writes really well. My disappointment is with the look of the pen, the colour distribution is dominated (99%) by the dark violet. Your internet photos could be considered false advertising, my pen does not look anything like that. This was my fifth Nahvalur fountain pen, my last?
I own lots of pens , this pen is one of my favorites and has become my dayley writer that I use to journal every day . I have a original + that I got from FPR with one of there ultra flex nibs in and I have the sunset ember Nautilus coming from Galen Leather. So I would say I am a big fan of Nahvalur pens
