This pen is absolutely gorgeous! I love all the colors, Details and sparcle in it. I keep coming back to my desk just to look at it. Such a great art-piece, truly unique. It writes soo smooth and I am so happy! My first nahvalur and definitly not my last. Amazing quality!

I've used this pen for 2 (nearly 3!) years as a student and I still love and use it to this day. I have never had significant issues with the pen itself, and the body and piston are in perfect working order despite the constant use. I will admit, I did drop the pen, and the cap did crack. The people at Nahvalur sent me a new one, and it was a very professional experience. I have not tested it with shimmer ink, but sheen and shading ink are no problem for the feed or nib unit. I do write a lot with it (about 8 pages a day at peak use) and it does show some wear and tear particularly around the metal band separating the grip and the body, and the band that separates the body and the end used to twist the piston. Overall, the build quality and consistency is impressive and has held up through literal years of constant use.

Great pen

My pen sustained an accidental damage shortly after purchase and Ron at Nahvalur kindly offered a replacement. When the replacement got damaged in the shipment another pen was sent out. This speaks volume about the company and its approach to customer service. Im extremely happy and will definitely purchase another pen in a near future. Thank you!

I was looking for a nice Japan-Sakura-themed pen, having just visited Japan, and received a well-timed add for this one. Most sakura-themed pens are overly pink whereas most cherry blossoms in Japan are mostly white. I felt this pen captured this superbly, especially with Rose Cyclamen inked up. My medium nib writes smooth and perfectly wet and it feels comfortable in hand. It's gorgeous and a true joy to hold.

My thanks to the Nahvalur team for the speedy replacement of my Nahvalur Original Plus. The new pen’s vacuum fill system works perfectly, the fine steel nib is wonderfully smooth, and I am happy that I was able to get the same color way in the replacement. I look forward to many years of writing enjoyment with my OP.

I was more than happy with the Bronze Corydoras Fountain pen. When the pen broke, from an admitted user error while refilling, Nautilus sent me a replacement pen with no hassle. I will certainly look to nautilus for all future purchases.

Hunted everywhere for this beautiful pen as it is not sold in my country. The pen writes amazingly smoothly and feels very substantial in my hand. Had a tough time to decide on a matchy matchy ink because of all the lovely colors in the resin.

High quality pen and a smooth-writing nib. A good heft but very well balanced when writing. The black finish is not glossy which I really like. The piston filler mechanism is also very smooth. The nib writes a little wider than the nib width indicates but the ink flow is not too wet and very consistent. The nib is also very easy to replace. The spring clip is also another feature that I really like. Its hard for me to find things that i dont like about this pen. I also have the outstanding Anniversary 365 ‘Plongeur’, so a happy dude here!
