1. Disassembling the Pen
1.1 Gently Twist the End Pen Cap:
Begin by gently twisting the end pen cap counter-clockwise to loosen it along with the bottom parts of the pen. Ensure smooth and careful movements to avoid damaging the threads or the pen's mechanism.
1.2 Remove the End Cap and Bottom Barrel:
Once loosened, gently pull down the end cap along with the bottom barrel. Maintain a firm grip to ensure all components remain aligned and avoid any parts slipping out unexpectedly.
1.3 Extract the Ink Refill:
With the bottom parts detached, grasp the ink refill and gently pull it downward to remove it from the barrel. Handle with care to prevent any ink spillage or damage to the refill and pen structure.
2. Filling the Pen
2.1 Loosen the End:
Before starting, gently twist the end-cap counter-clockwise until you encounter resistance. Avoid over-twisting to prevent damage.
2.2 Submerge the Nib:
Immerse the nib fully in ink, ensuring that the entire nib section is below the ink surface.
*Attention: Please note that the Eclipse nib is longer than most fountain pens. Ensure there is enough ink in the bottle to fully submerge the entire nib during filling
2.3 Secure the End:
With the nib still submerged, carefully twist the end-cap clockwise to return it to its original position.
